Congrats! Boys are fun!
I don't normally read fertility blogs as I find they can mess with your head but today I came across your blog while looking up something about uterine septum resection, which I just had done on Monday. I have just spent the last hour or so pouring over post after post from your blog. I cannot tell you how grateful I feel to have found this. I laughed and I cried and I felt understood. This has been a particularly difficult week for me as I found out on Tuesday (the day after my surgery) that my brother and his wife, who just got married in March, are 14 weeks pregnant. I had no concept they were trying or even ready for a child and it blindsided me. Since my husband and I have been trying (for 15 months) I have had countless people in my life get pregnant including 2 best friends, 2 of hubby's besties, 8 co-workers and 4 family friends, but my brother has just rocked me to the core (might have something to do with the estrogen I'm taking as part of surgical recovery, but still). Every thought and feeling I have had over the past 15 months has been echoed somewhere in your blog...without condescension or the ridiculousness that accompanies so many other blogs out there. You have written with maturity, humour, dignity and truth. I was truly beginning to feel no one could understand how I was feeling (I just had an argument with my mother because of my reaction to my brother's news was unfortunately tears of sadness, not joy). I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have found you today. I am already feeling less in darkness. Haylee's joy brings hope and Molly's sadness brings understanding. Thank you for being out there. Truly. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words Anonymous.... Please know if you ever need to reach either Molly or myself privatly you can do so through the blog. We are always here and have been through so much. The journey is still a long one, but continue to keep your head up. Typically once a uterine septum is fixed you are BAM good (my story as you read not so much at first- but look at me now?? who knew?). I hope you are healing nicely and the pain isnt too bad. Our thoughts and prayers for a quick healing period and lots of baby dust are coming your way. Much love - Haylee & Molly
Traci, Emily & Oliva- THANK YOU!
T & O - I will def be needing some advice in the near future.
E- We will need Romona to teach the Ninja how stuff is done in Denver. ;)
Boys are so much fun! Congrats!
