BABIES MOON!

Call us crazy, but Jason and I escaped for about a week to Puerto Rico during the New Year. We had accomplished so much in preparing for the babies, that we felt we should get away while we have the chance.

Thanks to our awesome angel Ashley, we had no worries that the babies would come while we were away.  She rocked through week 34 without slowing down.

The flight there had a few issues, but we finally arrived without missing any time in the sunshine.

We first traveled to Vieques, the small island off the coast of Puerto Rico.
We slept in the warm sun.
We ordered our favorite virgin Miami Vices (half pina colada half strawberry daquiri).
We slept some more.
Worked out.
Binged watched Making A Murderer on Netflix.
Slept.
Kayaked the Bioluminscent Bay.
Slept.
Ordered room service, pool service. Lots of services.
Slept.
Slept.

Then after a few days we headed back to San Juan.
It was quite a tiny plane ride.

We traveled about 45 minutes outside to our gorgeous hotel, the St. Regis.
It was like Restoration Hardware on crack.

There we enjoyed a beautiful room, amazing view, quiet grounds and amazing service.

We continued the pattern.

Slept in.
Slept by the pool.
Ordered more food, more drinks.
Slept.
Binge watch Orange is the New Black.
Slept.

We did meet up with some old friends who happened to recently move to PR for dinner.

I got eaten by everything imaginable.
Mosquitos.
No-see-ums.
Sand flies.
 I had like 60 bites.
Jason.....4.

I am still itching.

We had some fabulous dinners and always ordered two desserts (each).
And we slept.

WE DID NOTHING.
AND IT WAS FABULOUS.

It was exactly what I wanted and what WE needed.

Grateful to be able to get away.
More grateful to no be worried while I was away.
Most grateful for 34 weeks.
